Indepencence Day is celebrated on August 15th every year to commemorate India’s freedom from the British rule in 1947. India has achieved 74 years of freedom and we were the witness of ‘Azadi Ki Amrut Mahotsav’.
Independence day was celebrated at the Presentation School campus on 15th August 2021 at 7.15am. The guests were welcomed by the band and Sr. Sally was the guest of honour, who hoisted the symbol of freedom that is our tri colour flag. The programme continued with the prayer song sung by Presentation primary school teachers.
Various programs were held at school to encourage students to participate actively and cheerup their minds. The teachers performed a Tableau showing the story of Bhagat singh, Sukhdev and Raj guru. These programs were made live to the students and the children enjoyed participating.
