World Environment Day is a global platform for raising awareness and taking action on pressing environmental issues such as global warming, human overpopulation, marine life and sustainable consumption of resources. The day is celebrated every year on 5th June. World Environment Day serves as a critical occasion for raising awareness about environmental issues and encouraging collective action for the planet. To remark the importance of the World Environment saplings were brought by the students and planted in the school garden along with the teachers and other students.
